Congratulations to Flint Seymour for qualifying for State Track next Friday and Saturday in Wichita. Flint placed 2nd in the 300 m hurdles yesterday evening at Regionals in Winchester. Congrats to Flint on an awesome end to his Senior year! Let's Go!
Regional Track Update: Due to predicted weather tomorrow, May 21st, the regional track meet @ JCN will now start at 11:00am.
Dragon Softball advances to the Regional Semifinals with a 17-0 win over Troy tonight. They will play tomorrow against Bennington. Game will be at Bennington and will start 25 minutes after the 2pm game.
Retirement Reception in the lunchroom today from 1:30 to 3:00. Come celebrate with Margo Ellerman, Brenda Lloyd, Amy Sherretts, and Larry Welborn. 103 years working with our students at USD 338!!
VFHS Track will travel to JCN to compete in the Regional Meet on Thursday, May 21st. Meet starts at 1:00pm. Go Dragons!

Due to anticipated weather this evening, we are postponing our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremonies to tomorrow at 7 PM with their dance following the ceremony at Township Hall. Stay Safe tonight everyone!
HS Regional Softball: Due to field conditions and predicted weather, the game has been moved to Tuesday, May 19th with a 5pm start time.
HS Softball Regional: The Dragons will host Troy on Monday, May 18th with a game time of 5:30pm. Admission: K-12 $6, Adults $8, No Passes Allowed.

8th Graders testing their Hurricane/Tornado Houses in science class on the last day!
MS Track coaches gathered students this morning to recognize athletes who participated this year and talk about our 8th graders' work & great attitudes. Lots of top placings and personal bests-congratulations! Thank you to the coaches who helped with these accomplishments.
Look who came to visit our PK-5 graders today to promote the Summer Reading Program at the Delaware Township Library! PK even got to give some high fives while enjoying breakfast. Don't forget the Kick Off Lego Program with Cody Wells on May 27th at 6:00 pm.
Gate fees for today's home Regional Baseball game vs JCN at 5 pm are $8 for Adults and $6 for students. Knowing this is a KSHSAA event no passes will be accepted. GO DRAGONS!
As part of their "Fun Day Countdown", 4th grade had a paper airplane contest yesterday. Students tested them and made tweaks based on performance. Tyler and Tristan came in first & second place, with their planes flying the farthest in the final round.
