Mrs. Penry's 5th grade class had fun picking out prizes this afternoon in the AR Store.

Tonight's Special Board of Education Meeting has been cancelled and re-scheduled for Monday, December 29, 2025 at 6:30pm in the library.

The AR store was set up and ready for students to choose gifts this morning! Thank you to our volunteers who are helping to make this a special event, and to everyone who donated prizes. The tables are full and the smiles are precious!

Tonight's special BOE meeting will be held in the music room. It was originally supposed to be in the library which has the AR store set up.

HS Student Reminders: 12/18 :Clash of the Carolers: 9th wear White, 10th wear Green, 11th wear Red, 12th wear Blue. Finals: ELA & Business

HS Basketball Reminder: 12/19/25 @ ACCHS 4:30pm with 1/2 JV Girls game, 12/20/25 @ Axtell 2:00pm with JV Grils followed by JV Boys.

Students who attend Washburn Tech or Highland Tech will not need to be in attendance during the morning 1/2 day on Friday, December 19th. However, if your student needs to make up a final exam they will need to be present during this time unless special arrangements for makeups have been made with the VFHS office and their classroom teacher(s). The MS Boys Basketball team's parent meeting scheduled today has been postponed until tomorrow, Dec. 18, after practice at 5:30pm in the lunchroom.

Today was the Holly Jolly Senior Citizen Dinner. Thank you to everyone that came and enjoyed a great meal with friends and students. A special thanks to Mrs. Ellerman as she directed her classes in the prepping of food and decorations, along with serving and clean up. A lot of planning is involved and we appreciate everyone who helped!
