Homecoming Crowning has been postponed for tonight and will be rescheduled to a later date to be determined.
This statement is to confirm that we have a positive case of COVID-19 in our High School. The district is working closely with the Jefferson County Health Department and contact tracing is currently underway. We will continue to monitor this situation closely in the days ahead and will let you know if additional health and safety steps are needed. The VFHS Football Homecoming parade route is attached. Please be aware that patrons are asked to social distance, not intermingle with students, and wearing a mask is strongly recommended. The Pep Rally will be held in the west gym after the parade, students and candidate parent(s) will be the only attendees due to social distancing protocols in place to ensure student health and safety. Stopping a Rumor... The High School does not have a positive case of COVID. The JF. Co. Health Dept. has quarantined a few HS students as a precautionary measure. No changes to USD 338 Valley Falls schedules at this time. No reason for parents to be concerned.
The MS B-Team Volleyball Tournament scheduled for Oskaloosa tomorrow has been moved to Valley Falls. The tournament will begin at 8 AM with play in both gyms. Gates will open at 7:30 AM. Teams playing: JCN, McLouth, and two Valley Falls Teams
