GOOD LUCK TO THE LADY DRAGON BASKETBALL TEAM TONIGHT IN THE FINAL ROUND OF THE GIRLS MID SEASON BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT AT NORTONVILLE!!! The team will be dismissed at 3:05, the bus leaves at 3:15 and the game will begin at 5:00.
Any junior or senior who was awarded a USD #338 Foundation scholarship, please send an email to Mr. Morgan with the courses you took, what impacts those courses will have on your future and how the scholarship has aided you in attaining your personal goals. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Morgan.
The Kansas State Legislature is offering opportunities for five high school students to page in Topeka at the state capitol during this Spring's legislative session. Available dates are on a first come first serve basis on February 3, 10 and 24, and March 3. If you are interested in this opportunity, please sign up in the office by the end of the day today.
The City of Valley Falls is now accepting applications for lifeguard positions for the summer. Applicants must be at least 15 years old by May 15, 2026. Must be able to swim to pass the Red Cross Lifeguard certification class. Position includes helping with swimming lessons. Flexible schedule. Application to apply is available at valleyfalls.org. If you have any questions contact the city office at 785-945-6612 or email the city clerk at cityclerk@valleyfalls.org. Applications will be accepted through March 6th.
Effective Immediately -- no book bags in the office or the hallways. If you need your locker combination, please come to the office.
There will be open gym for all students on Sunday evenings at 8:00.
Any student walking to school across K-16, please be very aware when crossing the highway!
Students: Please do not park in the first 8 spaces from the south in the west parking lot across from the preschool.
The 2024-2025 yearbooks are in. If you ordered and paid for one, please stop by Ms. Ritz's room before or after school to pick it up.
Monday for breakfast will be bagels/cream cheese and lunch will be Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwich.
Homework session is in Mrs. Craft's room for those students needing to attend. It is from 3:30-4:15.
Students: Please do not exit the building thru the Early Childhood Center doors at any time during the day.
Students with a Week 1 "F" need to remember to conference with their teacher and turn that conference paper in to the office. Homework session has began for students with a Week 2 and Week 3 "F's". Homework session time is 3:30-4:15.
Anyone interested in taking a CNA class, please stop by the office for more information.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER
Federal law requires that all men register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. Now, 17-year-old men can submit their registration information early on the Internet (www.sss.gov) or by filling out a form at any post office. Selective Service registration is required to be eligible for a federal student loan, job training, most federal jobs and U.S. citizenship.
